“Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.” —John Wooden
My word for this week is SUCCESS!
What a word! I could spend a year writing weekly newsletters about “success.” It means so many different things to people. I believe our definition of success changes as we enter and exit the various chapters of our lives.
For some, success might mean achieving professional milestones, while for others, it could be about personal growth, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, or positively impacting their communities.
Reflecting on my own journey, I realize that success has taken many forms. Early in my career, it was about climbing the corporate ladder and achieving financial stability. As time passed, I found that success was more about creating meaningful relationships, contributing to my community, and finding fulfillment in my work. Today, success is all about making the most of every single day.
What does success mean to you today? Is it hitting a revenue target, expanding your business, or perhaps spending more time with friends and family? Whatever your current definition, remember that success is a personal journey, and it’s important to celebrate your achievements along the way, no matter how big or small.
Wishing you great success, whatever it looks like for you.
