Small Business Edge motivational and inspirational quotes

I love motivational and inspirational quotes. A good quote can go a long way in accentuating a point you are trying to make or capture a feeling you are trying to convey. Sometimes, a good quote is the perfect tonic to get you out of a funk or makes you reaffirm the important things in your life.
Periodically, I will share quotes on Small Business Edge that I’ve collected over the last 30+ years. I have amassed a great collection of funny, inspiring, heart-wrenching, and “kick you in the seat of your pants” quotes. That said, here are a few quotes for today. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
  • If you really want to do something, you will find a way; if you don’t, you will find an excuse. – Unknown
  • Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering, can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. – Helen Keller
  • Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. – H. Jackson Brown Jr.
  • If you’re going through hell, keep going. – Winston Churchill
  • If Columbus would have turned back, no one would have blamed him. Of course, no one would have remembered him either.
