Power Up Your Google Search
How many times a day do you search for something on Google? For me, it’s so many I couldn’t possibly keep count. And I’m obviously not alone. Google processes 105,000 search queries a second.
But are you searching effectively? MakeWorkOf shares 14 Chrome Extensions that will power up your search and “give you better results or let you navigate more quickly to what you’re looking for.”

Are Your Employees Engaged?
Since we’re still experiencing a tight labor market, large numbers of employees leaving their jobs, and an apparent outbreak of “quiet quitting,” employee engagement is crucial to keeping your staff intact.
FlexJobs surveyed thousands of American workers and found out:
- 51% of workers say they’re either only “somewhat engaged” or “not at all engaged”
- 40% say they feel just “okay” at work
- And 18% say they’re “pretty terrible” or “miserable.”
If you want to grow, that’s concerning. A blog on FlexJobs gives you the whole picture, from employee engagement to where people want to work and what makes them happy.

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) impacts more than 10 million Americans every winter. SAD can make you, well, sad and stressed and affect your work productivity.
While special lamps can improve the effects of SAD, this in-depth article in WorkLife discusses other possible solutions, including potential tech solutions.
